About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Inspire EHC Ltd. As an SEN Teacher in Norfolk, you will be responsible for teaching small classes of students with diverse needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, specific learning challenges, and social, emotional, or mental health barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across various subjects, catering to the unique requirements of pupils.
  • Adapt the curriculum to meet the individual needs of students with SEN and SEMH.
  • Lead and mentor Teaching Assistants and Higher-Level Teaching Assistants, providing guidance and support.
  • Implement school policies, prioritizing safeguarding and promoting equality.
  • Monitor student progress, focusing on both academic and emotional development.

Role Requirements:

  1. Holding QTS or QTLS is essential; relevant teaching experience is preferred.
  2. Proven expertise in teaching pupils with SEN, including working with EHCPs.
  3. Strong knowledge of the curriculum and effective strategies for engaging SEN learners.
  4. A flexible and creative approach to teaching, tailored to individual learning styles.
  5. A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (required due to rural locations).
