Medical Laboratory Specialist

- Organize workload to ensure timely results for providers.
- Contact physicians regarding test requests and order tests in the computer system.
- Prepare reports for delivery to doctor's offices and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Clean and maintain phlebotomy work areas and assist with training new employees.
Requirements: A high school diploma and minimum six months job-related experience or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification is required for all employees hired after 2012.
