Product Assurance Director

MBDA Missile Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance professional to lead our Quality Assurance team in the UK. As the Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality Assurance team in the UK, providing guidance and support to ensure the quality of our products and services.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks, and to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and maintain quality records, including audit reports, corrective action plans, and quality metrics.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on quality performance, including metrics and trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance field.
- Experience in quality assurance, preferably in an engineering subject area.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to run reports in Excel and use SAP QM system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
