About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Sports Direct. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure the store is maintained to a high standard, including visual merchandising and stock levels
  • Manage stock levels, including receiving and processing deliveries, and maintaining accurate stock records
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including cash handling and stock losses
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other retail systems
