About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified clinician to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, formulating individualised treatment plans, and facilitating group treatments. They will also work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver safe patient care focused on therapeutic relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess patients and provide individual therapeutic interventions to support group work
  • To facilitate groups and manage a clinical caseload, including lead practitioner duties
  • To participate in regular clinical, professional, and managerial supervision
  • To maintain and contribute to standards of professional care, ethics, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • Registered clinician with a relevant professional registration appropriate to the job role
  • Experience of working in adult mental health and group work
