About the Role

Candour Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Knutsford, Cheshire. As a DevOps Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our development and production environments, ensuring seamless integration, delivery, and deployment of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to automate software development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with Development and Operations Teams: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth delivery of software solutions.
  • Monitor and Analyze System Performance: Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance and resource utilization to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement and Manage Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage infrastructure as code to ensure consistency and efficiency in infrastructure management.
  • Manage and Configure Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and configure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support scalable and secure services.
  • Ensure System Security and Compliance: Ensure system security, compliance, and data protection standards are met to protect our customers' data.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve System Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Document Procedures and Best Practices: Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for internal teams to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Strong CI/CD Experience: Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
  • Cloud Services and Architectures: Solid understanding of cloud services and architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Containerization Technologies: Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Monitoring and Logging Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
