About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Bilfinger UK. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading E&I projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with our project team to develop and implement project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors. You will also be responsible for managing change, cost variation, and schedule, as well as setting and achieving goals and targets for your site team.

You will have full accountability for the quality of work delivered by your team and will be responsible for inputting into the management of labor resources and materials for the contract. Additionally, you will ensure that all project controls meet or exceed the project's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities
  • Manage E&I projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage change, cost variation, and schedule to minimize delays and costs.
  • Set and achieve goals and targets for your site team.
  • Ensure the quality of work delivered by your team meets the highest standards.
  • Input into the management of labor resources and materials for the contract.
  • Ensure all project controls meet or exceed the project's KPIs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in electrical engineering, preferably with a HNC/HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience in project management, preferably in the oil and gas, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
