About the Role

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading our E&I project construction aspects, including HSE, quality, technical & productivity.
  • Providing Health and Safety leadership by example, through communication, compliance monitoring and shared learning.
  • Working closely with the Bilfinger Project Team to ensure a clear and consistent approach to all work carried out.
  • Production of E&I estimates within the customer owned data base.
  • Management of change - cost variation and schedule.
  • Ensuring standard project control management is adopted for the project, monitoring KPI's and compliance of procedures.
  • Setting and managing achievable goals and targets for the site team.
  • Ensuring project personnel in your team are competent.
  • Accountable for the quality of work delivered by your team/department.
  • Input to the management of and delivery of labour resource and materials for the contract.
  • Co-ordination of vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring clear and approved work scopes are available for the project team.
  • Contributing to meetings/presentations/reviews (formal and informal) with the Project/Site Stakeholders for the effective communication and monitoring of progress.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • HNC/HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Desirable)
  • IOSH Managing Safely (Desirable)
  • COMPEX (Desirable)
  • APM P (Desirable)
