Job Title: Apprentice Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at HRC Recruitment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical testing, fault finding, installation, and inspection of equipment and systems.
  • Perform mechanical repairs, including motors and inverters, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant, where appropriate.
  • Complete maintenance documentation and computer entry in line with company procedures.
  • Adhere to all regulations, including ATEX and food safety.
  • Engage fully in all relevant health, safety, and environmental training to assist the company in meeting its legal obligations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a maintenance role.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving abilities and quality awareness.
  • Demonstrable ability in electrical testing, fault finding, installation, and inspection.
  • Ability to carry out mechanical repairs, including motors and inverters.
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance.
  • Recognised apprenticeship/engineering qualification, BTEC, HNC, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems.
