Job Title: Apprentice Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at HRC Recruitment.

Job Summary:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an Apprentice Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance tasks, including electrical testing, fault finding, and mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of plant and equipment.
  • Conduct electrical testing and fault finding to identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform mechanical repairs, including motors and inverters, to maintain equipment efficiency.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant.
  • Complete maintenance documentation and computer entry in line with company procedures.
  • Adhere to all regulations, including ATEX and food safety.
  • Engage fully in all relevant health, safety, and environmental training.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance role.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving abilities and quality awareness.
  • Demonstrable ability in electrical testing, fault finding, installation, and inspection.
  • Ability to carry out mechanical repairs, including motors and inverters.
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance.
  • Recognised apprenticeship/engineering qualification, BTEC, HNC, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems.
