The Role
The Payroll Executive is a critical role that ensures accurate and efficient payroll processing for employees both in the UK and internationally. This involves managing the in-house UK payroll for approximately 150 employees and liaising with international outsourced payroll providers to ensure timely and compliant payroll processing across various regions. Responsibilities include overseeing payroll processing from start to finish, preparing and submitting payroll reports, managing pension schemes, and addressing employee queries. The role also requires close collaboration with HR and Finance teams, assisting with year-end returns, and producing ad hoc reports. Staying updated on payroll legislation changes to maintain compliance is a key aspect of the role.
