About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced facilities manager to join our team at the University of Oxford's Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities. As a Deputy Director Facilities Management, you will be responsible for leading the facilities management team, developing and implementing soft landing strategies, and ensuring the smooth delivery of services to this complex building.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in leading teams and implementing best practices. You will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the facilities management team to deliver high-quality services to the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities.
  • Develop and implement soft landing strategies to ensure a smooth transition of services.
  • Manage and motivate a team of on-site staff and contractors to meet the needs of the building users.
  • Act as a key representative of the facilities management service, providing professional guidance and support to employees and stakeholders.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
