Accounting and Administrative Support Required


Dovetail Recruitment Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their team in Lymington. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and experience in finance/accounts.


About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a fast-growing SME that specializes in bespoke packaging and merchandise for major brands in the health and beauty industry.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support with accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage data entry, email responses, and record keeping
  • Liaise with clients to provide supporting documentation and respond to finance queries
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive business cash flow forecasts in multiple currencies
  • Enter financial transactions into the system and balance ledgers
  • Assist with bank reconciliation and ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and submit financial reports as required

Requirements:
  • Highly numerate with a minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Level 4 or above
  • Proficient in Excel and/or other accounting software
  • Experience in Sage or similar accounting systems would be beneficial but not essential
  • AAT qualified or equivalent would be advantageous but not necessary

Salary circa £28-30,000 PA, dependent on experience, plus a range of benefits including 22 days holiday + bank holidays and free parking on-site.
