Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Care Excellence to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on improving the quality and safety of care we deliver to our patients and population.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the response to Healthcare Inspectorate Wales inspections, supporting clinical and management teams.
  • Support the team's portfolio of work, including learning from mortality and the medical examiner service, falls prevention and management, analysis of safety and quality information, and other priority areas.

The successful candidate will be able to devise project plans and work programmes, have highly developed communication skills, including report writing and presentation of complex or sensitive information.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
