Salary: £57,000 - £60,000 per annum + benefits

Job Description: As a Pharmacy Manager at Nuffield Health Oxford, you will be responsible for leading the pharmacy team and ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines across all clinical departments. This includes chairing the Medicines Management Forum, providing leadership and advice on medicines management, and optimising the use of antimicrobials to minimise hospital-acquired infections.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership and advice on medicines management to ensure processes are safe, cost-effective, and legal.
  2. Lead the pharmacy team by providing excellent leadership and motivating staff to achieve their full potential.
  3. Optimise the management of antimicrobials to minimise hospital-acquired infections.
  4. Ensure the pharmacy team undertakes daily ward rounds and reconciles medication for new inpatients.
  5. Implement and monitor DoH guidance on controlled drugs use and ensure errors, complaints, and incidents are managed in line with Nuffield Health guidelines.
  6. Support the development of other healthcare professionals and deliver medicines-focused training.
