Early Years Educator

We are seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to join our team at the NHS Workplace Nursery in Brighton. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to children aged 3 and above.
Key Responsibilities:- Work alongside colleagues to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to play, learn, and develop.
- Deliver an effective Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that supports children's interests and stage of development.
- Support a 'Key Group' of children in their care and educational needs.
- Engage with children in creative and sensory play, promoting their learning and development.
- Provide caring support and good communication with parents/carers and children, understanding and appreciating diversity.
- Childcare qualification NVQ Level 2 or 3.
- Experience working with children under the age of 5 years.
- Experience with young toddlers and babies.
- Experience with parent partnership working.
- Experience working within a team environment.
- Knowledge of Early Years milestones.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- Understanding of diversity and equality practice for children, families, and staff.
- Awareness of health, hygiene, and safety procedures in the workplace.
