We are currently seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a KS3 SEND Teacher in Braintree, East of England, Essex.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-on-one tutoring in Maths and English to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This will involve developing individualised learning plans, assessing student progress, and communicating with parents and teachers.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching SEN students
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 Maths and English curriculum
  • Experience working with SEN students

In addition to these requirements, the ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and competitive remuneration. Please note that all applicants must undergo enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and complete child protection and prevent duty training.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a variety of settings, including classrooms and student homes. Some travel may be required to accommodate the needs of students.

Salary:

£20 - £30 Per hour
