Warehouse Operations Manager

Fortis Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Goods In team and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse employees, including training and development.
- Oversee the receipt and storage of goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient stock management.
- Develop and implement processes to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other warehouse managers to achieve business objectives and improve warehouse operations.
- Monitor and control costs, ensuring budgetary targets are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Proven experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and software, including inventory control and logistics.
