Job Title: Integrated Business Planning Lead

Location: Any RUK site

Summary of Role:

The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Lead is a key member of the Enterprise Performance Group (EPG) staff. The role is accountable for the Integrated Business planning system for Raytheon UK.

Main Duties:

  • Implement and manage an effective Integrated Business Planning (IBP) system, including Sales and Operations Planning & Execution processes.
  • Ensure that Mission Area and core demand for both the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) are effectively captured and communicated to the Functional Leads.
  • Manage effective Workload Forecast Planning to match business demand.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly review business performance against these metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IBP process.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

  • Demonstrable ability to implement and manage an IBP system.
  • Understanding of core business performance measures and the management actions required to control them.
  • At least 12 years of relevant, recent, demonstrable experience of successful performance in a highly regulated and/or controlled environment.
  • Proven ability as a team player who works well with others and build lasting, constructive relationships across the business.
  • Able to effect change through the matrix organisation.
  • Proficiency in planning and forecasting software, as well as ERP systems and reporting / visualisation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to engage with technical experts with credibility and understanding.

Desirable:

  • Financially astute with high levels of numeracy and an ability to develop models to enable scenario planning.
  • Having held a business leadership team role in a high performing organisation.
  • Degree qualified in a technical or project management related discipline.
  • Interested in continuous professional development of self and others.
  • Able to drive change and continuously improve performance.
