Job Title: Integrated Business Planning Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Integrated Business Planning Lead to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and managing an effective Integrated Business Planning (IBP) system, ensuring seamless planning and execution across the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the IBP system, processes, tools, and output reports to ensure effective planning and execution.
  • Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP), ensuring that Mission Area and core demand are effectively captured and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Implement effective Sales and Operations Planning & Execution processes to enable end-to-end planning and execution in support of Operations and Functional leadership.
  • Ensure effective prioritization, preparation, and approval of internal Operational and Capital Expense (OPEX & CAPEX) change projects across the matrix Functions.
  • Manage effective Workload Forecast Planning to closely match business demand with resource availability.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly review business performance against these metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IBP process, utilizing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Demonstrable ability to implement and manage an IBP system, including S&OP/E and resource planning.
  • Understanding of core business performance measures and the management actions required to control them.
  • At least 12 years of relevant, recent, demonstrable experience of successful performance in a highly regulated and/or controlled environment, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Proven ability as a team player who works well with others and builds lasting, constructive relationships across the business.
  • Demonstrate role model cultural behaviors, supporting and navigating sensitive and pressurized situations to overcome delivery challenges.
  • Able leader and influencer, capable of effecting change through the matrix organization, even where direct hierarchical control does not exist.
  • Proficiency in planning and forecasting software, as well as ERP systems and reporting/visualization tools, specifically Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Able communicator in verbal, written, and presentational forms, including at board level.
  • Full UK national, able to achieve UK SC clearance.

Desirable:

  • Financially astute with high levels of numeracy and an ability to develop models to enable scenario planning.
  • Having held a business leadership team role in a high-performing organization.
  • Degree qualified in a technical or project management related discipline, or with equivalent non-academic experience.
  • Interested in continuous professional development of self and others.
  • Able to engage with technical experts with credibility and understanding.
  • Drive to create change and continuously improve performance, creative and open to innovation in order to solve complex problems.
