What We're Looking For

We're seeking a compassionate and creative Activity Co-ordinator to join our team. As a key member of our care home community, you'll play a vital role in building friendships with our residents, delivering exceptional personal and psychological care, and planning engaging activities that promote their wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with residents, understanding their interests and hobbies to create tailored activity plans.
  • Deliver high-quality personal and psychological care, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of our residents are met.
  • Maintain effective communication with our management team, care assistants, and relatives to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Record keeping and confidentiality are essential aspects of this role, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and upholding client, staff, and business confidentiality.
  • Plan and coordinate activities, including daytime and evening events, to promote resident engagement and participation.
  • Maintain awareness of health and safety requirements, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our residents.
  • Collaborate with other services in the facility to create a comprehensive activity program, including a monthly planner.
  • Encourage resident participation and document outcomes, taking into account their hobbies and interests.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide backup support, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.
