About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE Senior Advisor to join our client's expanding team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work on a major project for a leading engineering and maintenance provider, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support site improvement initiatives and maintain the highest standards of Health and Safety, Environmental Performance, and Industrial Relations.
- Ensure acceptable levels of performance from all team members and maintain good 360° communications with management teams.
- Uphold the company's purpose and UK Golden Rules, coaching and mentoring safety advisors, setting targets, and having clear roles and accountabilities.
- Ensure frequent and clear communications are maintained with project managers, system managers, construction managers, engineers, and the client.
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports and ensure meetings are structured, minuted (where required), and succinct.
- Adopt a clean desk policy and assist in implementing improvement programs that continually improve the effectiveness of the services delivered.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers based on trust, predictability, and mutual respect.
- Maintain visible, felt leadership at all levels and sponsor the HSE corporate function, providing leadership and strategic guidance.
Requirements:
- A successful track record in hands-on management.
- Evidence of achieving customer satisfaction.
- Attitudes and abilities that support the group's core values.
- Auditing/Inspection, Incident Management & Investigation.
- NEBOSH and/or IOSH Managing Safely or qualification.
