Electrical Operations Manager

About the Role:

Morgan Ryder Associates is seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to join our team at a cutting-edge manufacturing plant in Greater Manchester. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance, service, repair, and upgrade of all electrical equipment necessary for manufacturing operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the SAP team to ensure accurate and timely scheduling of high-voltage switching requirements.
  • Select and manage contractors to ensure the highest level of service and quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve electrical system efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other plant operations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
