Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager / Qualifying Supervisor to lead our solar energy projects from concept to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant standards, while managing and mentoring a team of technicians and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections and audits for compliance and approve electrical designs.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensure all electrical work meets local regulations as the Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS).
  • Provide technical support during installation and maintenance.
  • Oversee testing and commissioning of solar PV systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, Electrical Manager, or in a similar role.
  • At least 7 years of electrical experience.
  • Experience in a QS role, with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and project management.
  • Essential certifications: 18th Edition, 2391, and Level 3 Electrical Installation.
  • Skilled in computer skills and bespoke platforms.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
