Electrical Manager / Qualifying Supervisor (Solar PV)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager / Qualifying Supervisor to lead our solar energy projects from concept to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant standards, while managing and mentoring a team of technicians and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and approve electrical designs.
  2. Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  3. Ensure all electrical work meets national and local regulations as the Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS).
  4. Provide technical support during installation and maintenance.
  5. Oversee testing and commissioning of solar PV systems.
  6. Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, Electrical Manager, or in a similar role.
  2. At least 7 years of electrical experience.
  3. Experience in a QS role, with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and project management.
  4. Essential certifications: 18th Edition, 2391, and Level 3 Electrical Installation.
  5. Skilled in computer skills and bespoke platforms.
  6. Valid UK driving licence.
