We are seeking an exceptional educator to lead our health and social care programmes. As Academic Programmes Lead, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of our students.

About the Role

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum design to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to promote courses and recruit students.
  • Ensure effective assessment methods to support student progression.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote British values and contribute to college initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons using innovative teaching strategies.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students to achieve their goals.
  • Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Take ownership of programme progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve Maths and English skills.

Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification or relevant occupational experience.
  • Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer

  • An estimated salary of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
