About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Collingwood Grange Care Home in Camberley. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, while also inspiring and developing a team of Care Assistants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, ensuring the smooth operation of care services and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Supporting with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping.
  • Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsible for all shift handovers and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Helping with training and supervision of new staff members to ensure they feel welcomed and supported.
  • Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses.
  • Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties, promoting independence and dignity.

Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual with a passion for making a real difference to people's lives. You will have previous experience of the role and knowledge of its rewards and challenges. You will also have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care and have a passion for delivering high-quality care.
