About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Gousto. As a key member of our Unbox tribe, you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively managing your department to achieve business and departmental targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop your team to achieve great culture and results, overseeing performance management, training, recruitment, and absenteeism.
- Understand and interpret specifications to ensure forward planning of production is achieved in the most cost-effective manner possible, optimizing efficiencies.
- Ensure quality and hygiene standards are properly communicated, understood, and achieved at all times, demonstrating proper co-operation with all departments.
- Carry out routine inspections of your department and recommend improvements.
- Ensure a complete and thorough knowledge of the budget within your department and report any variance against these standards.
Requirements
- Existing manager of a team with excellent IT skills, particularly in Google Workspace and Slack.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with interaction at all levels of the business.
- Excellent organizational skills in a fast-moving and challenging environment.
- Advantageous: worked with food, knowledge of HACCP, GMP.
