About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Service Manager to join our mental health rehabilitation service in Oswaldtwistle, Accrington.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the needs of our highly dependent residents, providing direction and leadership to ensure effective management of the home.

  • Provide leadership and management to the senior management team, ensuring that appropriate management arrangements are in place at all times.
  • Oversee the day-to-day housekeeping of the property, including infection prevention and control, and ensure that all care standards and regulatory standards are met.
  • Manage and supervise the recruitment and retention of colleagues, providing supervision and appraisal, and development of all colleagues on a day-to-day basis.

We are looking for a Service Manager with a passion for delivering outstanding care to our residents, who has a strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks, regulations, and legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing the needs of our highly dependent residents.
  • Providing direction and leadership to ensure effective management of the home.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day housekeeping of the property.
  • Managing and supervising the senior management team.
  • Ensuring that all care standards and regulatory standards are met.

As a registered mental health manager, you will have the ability to influence and advise at all levels, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and experience of managing a team.

Key requirements include:

  • A current NMC Pin Registration.
  • A legal right to work in the U.K.
  • Leadership or Management Qualification or relevant experience.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Robust understanding of relevant regulatory framework, regulations, and legislation.
