About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Nurse to join our exceptional Pediatric Emergency Department in East London. Our department consistently ranks among the highest performing in the UK, achieving outstanding clinical outcomes, patient flow, and an 'Outstanding' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive holistic nursing care to children.
- Collaborate with children and their families, actively involving them in care planning and delivery.
- Document patient details meticulously using the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
- Coordinate patient discharges, including health promotion education.
- Identify and respond to clinical emergencies promptly, ensuring up-to-date CPR training.
- Safely and competently operate medical equipment, providing supervision to others as needed.
- Monitor vital signs accurately, taking appropriate action when deterioration is observed.
