Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Care Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support to our healthcare team, including phlebotomy, spirometry, vaccinations, and wound dressings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide phlebotomy services to patients, including blood sampling and testing.
  • Conduct spirometry tests to assess lung function.
  • Administer vaccinations, including flu, Covid, pneumonia, RSV, shingles, B12, and nasal flu.
  • Perform wound dressings and provide minor surgery support to the clinical team.
  • Conduct ECGs, blood pressure checks, and NHS Health Checks.
  • Prepare patients for long-term condition reviews.

Requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths Grade A to C.
  • Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 2 in Health Care.
  • Previous experience in the NHS and a Health Care setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Health Care Assistant Role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
