Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement and Accommodation Manager to join our team at Remedy Social Work.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement and temporary accommodation teams to ensure a good supply of suitable, well-maintained temporary accommodation.
  • Oversee the procurement and renewal of accommodation, and manage contracts with suppliers across all accommodation types in a rigorous, effective, legal, ethical, and accountable manner.
  • Have overall responsibility for the management of all forms of temporary accommodation, including repairs, voids, landlord liaison, lettings, tenancy management, and related areas.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met in all properties and that officers are trained in all aspects of health and safety, in line with current legislation and regulations.
  • Develop and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders and property providers to ensure demand facilitates supply.
  • Take responsibility for budgets and related accounts, being financially efficient in leading a property procurement and temporary accommodation service.
  • Provide managerial reports, statistical data, and updates as required.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and accommodation management, with experience in leading teams and managing budgets. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and property providers.

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. They will have a strong attention to detail and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
