Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement and Accommodation Manager to join our team at Remedy Social Work.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement and temporary accommodation teams to ensure a good supply of suitable, well-maintained temporary accommodation.
  • Oversee the procurement and renewal of accommodation, and manage contracts with suppliers across all accommodation types.
  • Have overall responsibility for the management of all forms of temporary accommodation, including repairs, voids, landlord liaison, lettings, tenancy management, and related areas.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met in all properties and that officers are trained in all aspects of health and safety.
  • Develop and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders and property providers to ensure demand facilitates supply.
  • Take responsibility for budgets and related accounts, and provide managerial reports, statistical data, and updates as required.
  • Deputise for the Property & Place Manager and other Managers in the Housing Solutions service area.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in procurement and accommodation management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Ability to manage budgets and accounts.
