Job Title: CEO Contract

UTEC, part of Acteon Group, is a leading provider of offshore and onshore survey services. We utilize advanced equipment and techniques to deliver high-quality data to our clients, enabling them to make informed business decisions.

We are seeking a meticulous and hard-working Party Chief to join our team. As UTEC's senior onboard representative, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is conducted in the best interests of UTEC and the Client. This includes thoroughly understanding work specifications, project requirements, and client objectives, as well as overseeing the safe, efficient, and timely execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise survey operations to ensure safe working practices and compliance with contractual requirements, scope of work, procedures, and regulations.
  2. Manage mobilisation and demobilisation activities, prioritising the safety of personnel and assets.
  3. Ensure all systems are functioning in accordance with contractual requirements, project procedures, and company procedures to effectively conduct the scope of work.
  4. Collect, collate, quality-check, and distribute all survey data related to the scope of work, adhering to project procedures and company procedures.
  5. Advise onshore management, company representatives, and clients on deviations from approved procedures, documenting changes through the Management of Change Procedure.
  6. Compile operational/field reporting in a concise manner, aligning with project procedures, client specifications, and company procedures.
  7. Complete final reporting and data transfer/backup, adhering to project procedures, client specifications, and company procedures.
  8. Ensure all personnel in the offshore team understand their roles and responsibilities.
  9. Conduct personnel performance reviews/appraisals for direct reports and provide specific performance data/feedback to supervisors of non-direct reports assigned to projects.
  10. Actively participate and lead by example in the Company's Quality and HSE Systems and Procedures.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years' experience in surveying or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  2. Technical understanding and knowledge of major survey equipment and software used in the offshore survey sector.
