Job Title: Technical Compliance Specialist

EMCOR UK is seeking a highly skilled Technical Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UK legislation and regulations in our R&D facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate facilities engineering support within site operations to maximize facility 'up-time' and reliability.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of UK legislation with respect to Statutory engineering compliance.
  • Support investigations and root cause analysis into engineering related issues or failures.
  • Support completion of site gap analyses versus clients combined EHS & Engineering standards.
  • Support audit readiness at WPS facilities for internal and external audits.
  • Support identification of capital projects and small minor work activities.
  • Act as a key technical stake holder to service provider project management teams.
  • Monitor and contribute to infrastructure life cycle asset management.
  • Support completion of engineering-related management monitoring activities.
  • Assist in co-authorship and periodic reviews of existing & proposed Work instructions & Standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to Degree level in an Engineering discipline.
  • Self-driven with a strong willingness to learn, grow & develop your engineering competencies.
  • Experience of the Research & Development process in GXP/regulated facilities.
  • Greater than five years professional experience with a proven track record in the management of complex facilities.
  • High level of drive & adaptability to address multidisciplinary engineering matters.
  • Team-player with a strong ability to foster good working relationships with internal teams & WPS service providers.
