Job Title: Store Merchandising Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Store Merchandising Specialist to join our team at u&i Search. As a Store Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the store merchandising for one of our premium womenswear brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocating stock to the stores at the beginning of each season and for regular features throughout the season.
  • Recalling non-performing options to make room for new options.
  • Reviewing the daily replenishment of each store.
  • Developing the strategy for store merchandising, differentiating between core product and seasonal newness.
  • Developing auto-replenishment rules.
  • Coordinating stock checks.
  • Liaising with store managers to better understand demand at each store.
  • Providing feedback to the design and product development team.
  • Coordinating stock for window displays.
  • Managing supply of uniform for store staff.
  • Working closely with and supporting the Brand merchandiser.
  • Develop a full understanding of the supply chain, including the Distribution Centre in the East Midlands. Consider total supply chain costs when making decisions.
  • Make sure decisions are clearly communicated and efficiently executed through the supply chain.
  • Store visits – weekly in London, seasonally to New York.

Requirements:

  • Able to understand the dynamics of supply and demand, think critically and propose new systems and ways of working.
  • A proactive self-starter, happy working independently.
  • Able to combine quantitative analysis with intuition and judgement.
  • Confident in using Excel.
  • A good communicator with good listening skills, liaising between the store managers, product development and the brand merchandiser.
  • Proactive and independent.
  • Happy to travel to DC and stores.
