Job Description:

Tapestry Venture Capital, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Head of Operational Excellence to lead our Central Operations team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations and loss prevention strategies.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to oversee store operations, implement robust loss prevention measures, and foster effective collaboration among teams. Key responsibilities include leading a team of Store Managers and Associates, developing operational strategies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Store Managers and Store Associates to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets.
  2. Operational Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to optimise store operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  3. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counting, FIFO, and inventory control to minimise waste & shrink.
  4. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards for safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
  6. Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and support to store staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  7. Work Environment: Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and a customer-centric culture.
  8. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate store processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance the overall customer experience.
  9. Loss Prevention: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to prevent theft, fraud, and operational losses.
  10. Audits and Investigations: Conduct regular audits to spot potential risks and vulnerabilities, and lead security incident investigations.
  11. Data Analysis: Process internal data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 5+ years of work experience in retail or warehouse operations.
  2. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of retail operations, loss prevention strategies, security protocols, and industry regulations.
  3. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in data analysis, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Qualifications: Experience in designing and delivering training programs, knowledge of security technologies and their application.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
