We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Director to join our team at Amdaris. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all Agile delivery activities within a portfolio of international engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small group of Delivery Leads to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and high-quality delivery processes and controls in accordance with Agile best practices and the Amdaris Way.
- Develop and train Delivery Leads in accordance with the Amdaris Way and outlined Delivery Lead training framework.
- Be accountable for the correct use of resources, including timely identification of future resourcing needs.
- Lead by example, demonstrating how Agile delivery engagements should be conducted by being responsible for delivering light-touch engagements.
Requirements:
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to build collaborative and effective teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with all levels within the organisation.
- Strong ability to work autonomously, with the ability to self-initiate work and take full responsibility for meeting allocated technical and/or project/supervisory objectives.
- Ability to influence across the organisation, customers, suppliers, partners, and peers in relation to delivery.
- Demonstrable ability to make good decisions that impact the success of assigned work, including results, deadlines, and budget.
- Experience in leading user/customer collaboration throughout all stages of work.
- Demonstrable experience in the successful management and delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects/services.
- Good knowledge of generic software development project life cycle processes as defined by industry best practice.
- Understanding of Quality Planning, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control.
- Strong analytical, numerical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Driven to achieve results and continual improvement.
- Certified delivery practitioner, e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, ITIL, etc.

Interview Process:
- Stage 1: Culture Add Interview with Chelsea (Talent Partner). This initial interview will focus on assessing how well the candidate would fit within our company culture.
- Stage 2: Interview with Head of Agile Delivery and Portfolio Director. In this stage, the candidate will meet with the Head of Agile Delivery and a Portfolio Director to discuss the specifics of the role.
- Stage 3: Interview with Head of Agile Delivery and Chief Delivery Officer. In this stage, it will be a 1-hour interview with the Head of Agile Delivery and Chief Delivery Officer.
