This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a College Lecturer in International Human Rights. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, inspiring students, and preparing them for progression with a Master's in Human Rights, Law, or related social science.
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced individual who has a PhD or doctoral research in human rights, teaching experience, preferably in HE in FE, and in-depth knowledge of international human rights.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Teach and assess students on International Human Rights courses.
- Develop and maintain curriculum content to ensure it remains up-to-date and relevant.
- Provide pastoral support to students.
- Maintain effective relationships with colleagues, students, and external partners.
- PhD or doctoral research in human rights.
- Teaching experience, preferably in HE in FE.
- In-depth knowledge of international human rights.
- Minimum level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
- Holiday pay.
