Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Humanities to join our team at a secondary school in Grimsby. As an experienced educator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students and contributing to the development of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver high-quality lessons to students in the Humanities department
  • To develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners
  • To assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop the curriculum and improve teaching practices
Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual who has:

  • A degree in a relevant subject (e.g., History, English, Geography)
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of the Humanities curriculum and assessment methods
