Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapy Professional Lead to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Physiotherapy department, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership and guidance to our team of physiotherapists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership and guidance to the Physiotherapy team, influencing national policy and strategies.
  • Establish and govern the Physiotherapy service, ensuring safe, effective, patient-centered, and high-quality direct patient care.
  • Act as the link between DHCFT and the Chartered Society for Physiotherapy (CSP) professional body, addressing professional issues relevant to and affecting the Physiotherapy service.
  • Contribute to the collective AHP perspective through working in partnership within the AHP Committee group.

Requirements
  • Registered physiotherapist with HPC registration.
  • Experience in physiotherapy leadership, with a proven track record in service user and carer engagement and involvement in service development.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and proven ability to motivate others.
  • Proven facilitation skills in relation to workforce issues and complaints.
  • High level of communication skills, able to present complex, sensitive, or contentious information to a large group of staff or members of the public.
