Job Description
Primary Purpose
As a key member of the Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc. team, the Commercial Manager, Power Solutions will be responsible for driving the sales execution of the company's Power Solutions strategy in the EMEA region. This will involve working closely with field teams and dealers to promote and sell Power Solutions products and services, including traditional battery technologies and emerging technologies such as hydrogen fuel cells.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in the Power Solutions segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and dealers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
- Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Manage key supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of Power Solutions products and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the materials handling or energy solutions industry, preferably with a focus on Power Solutions.
- Strong understanding of the complexities of independent distribution networks in an international business.
- Experience with established and alternative energy solutions, such as hydrogen fuel cells.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position based in the UK, with occasional travel required to meet with customers and dealers. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and business development in the Power Solutions segment.
