Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Learning Mentor to join our team at Folkestone Girls. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs, focusing on developing their skills, resilience, and confidence to achieve their full potential. This will involve working closely with teachers, other support staff, and external agencies to provide personalized education plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils in lessons, either one-to-one or in small groups, to develop their reading, writing, and mathematics skills.
  • Run interventions and provide additional support to pupils with social and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective educational strategies.
