About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our team at Cats Protection. As a key member of our retail operation, you will play a vital role in maximising shop income and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Shop Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the shop, ensuring key performance indicators are met.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Cats Protection, embodying the charity's values and behaviours.
  • Take responsibility for the shop operation in the absence of the Shop Manager.
About Our Retail Team

Our retail operation consists of over 80 charity shops across the UK. As a member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and passionate group of individuals dedicated to making a difference for cats and their owners.

What We're Looking For
  • Demonstrable learning and experience from working in a relevant retail environment.
  • Experience and/or understanding of working to sales targets.
  • Experience of cash reconciliation and financial controls.
  • A strong understanding of our charity's values and mission.
