About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Shop Manager to join our retail team at Cats Protection. As a key member of our shop management team, you will play a vital role in maximising shop income and profitability, while supporting the work of our charity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Shop Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the shop, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
  • Support the Shop Manager in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Cats Protection, embodying our values and behaviours, and taking responsibility for the shop operation in the absence of the Shop Manager.
  • Lead and motivate a team of employees and volunteers, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shop experience.
