Job Title: Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Taylor Hobson. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for managing and developing a Procurement Team to achieve the company's Operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a Procurement Team to achieve Operational targets
  • Provide expertise in Global Sourcing, Supplier Management & Cost reduction
  • Deliver and deploy best-in-class practices associated with Supply Chain & Process Management
  • Ensure optimal delivery of supplier material
  • Achieve and report on Year-on-Year Cost reduction
  • Drive Managed Inventory Reduction & Working Capital Improvements
  • Supplier negotiation and performance improvement
  • Undertake Tactical Purchasing activities as required by the business
  • Implement & Drive Strategic Purchasing Initiatives
  • Undertake supply market and supply chain analysis to reduce cost and optimise added value
Requirements:
  • Experience in a fast-paced Manufacturing/Engineering Supply Chain role
  • Organised - able to document, handle, prioritise and deal with a high volume of projects and tasks
  • Experience in writing and interpreting contract documents
  • Full Driving license & Willingness to Travel
  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Chain)
