We are seeking an experienced Export Operator to join our team at Spring Resourcing Solutions Ltd. As an Export Operator, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end shipments for regular customers.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage exports for regular clients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Obtain the best prices from carriers and negotiate rates to optimize shipping costs.
- Ensure customers have the correct solution that meets their needs, providing expert advice on freight forwarding options.
- Verify and update all shipments with correct documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and carriers, resolving queries and issues related to lost, damaged, or delayed shipments.
- Experience in managing exports, preferably in a freight forwarding or logistics company.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to negotiate rates and resolve customer queries in a professional manner.
- Competitive salary: circa £28k-£33k depending on experience.
- Office-based role in Bradford, with opportunities for progression and training.
