Finance Change Consultant Role

We are seeking a skilled Finance Change Consultant to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Finance Change team, you will play a crucial role in managing change activities and delivering new systems into our Financial Control Environment.

About the Job

  • Ensure financial control is integrated into the Finance elements of the build.
  • Collaborate with the finance value stream to ensure finance requirements are understood and that the solution is fit for purpose for finance.
  • Deliver efficient and effective user acceptance testing, including billing, collections, and cash management.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the new platform for finance functionality.
  • Support business readiness and training activities for a safe implementation into finance.
  • Support BAU as the new systems embed.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience of Financial Control Framework.
  • Knowledge of general insurance data flows for finance and finance data systems (Finance Data Hub, Oracle Fusion General Ledger accounting) and/or good knowledge of Health Care data and its uses.
  • Analytical, investigative, and collaborative approach. Able to make initial assessments and recommendations which would be shared with the team and management.
  • Strong stakeholder/relationship & communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt current skills and experience to new areas, including ability to think wider.

What You'll Get for This Role

  • Salary Circa £30,000 (location, skills, experience, and qualifications dependant)
  • Bonus opportunity of 8% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's)
