The appointee will be a key member of the Trust's Neurology Department, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality care to patients within the Trust and contribute to the further development of services.

Job Responsibilities

  • The appointee will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver Neurology outpatient services at our hospital; also to provide in-reach neurological advice to medical wards, surgical wards and Same Day Emergency Care
  • The appointed consultant would be expected to contribute to the on-going service improvement programme developing new ways of working when necessary
  • Applicants are encouraged to apply for fellowship of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management

Person Specification

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • MRCP Part 1 and Part 2
  • Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in General Internal and/or Neurology

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £120,000 - £150,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
