About the Role

The Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking an experienced Dietetic Lead to fill the position of Service Lead for Acute Nutrition Support. This is a key role that will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and outcomes within the health board.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Clinical Lead Dietitians working in Acute Nutrition Support across the health board.
  • Lead on recruitment and development plans, as well as workforce opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the wider multi-professional team to ensure all aspects of Acute Nutrition Support are embedded safely in practice.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the development of Nutrition Support Teams across the health board.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Essential qualifications include a degree in Dietetics, professional registration with the HCPC, and significant postgraduate specialist knowledge.
  • Extensive experience of team leadership, including multi-professional team working, and experience of leading project/service change work.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to engage and influence at operational level.
  • Established line management experience, including registered and unregistered staff, with the ability to identify, report, and manage risk.
